Tedious, ungrammatical, unoriginal and tasteless crap from someone old enough to know better.

Inviting another Jihad.
Just to keep you going until I find time to bring some more relief to your suffering, I saw a newspaper headline today asking "Should women be CofE Bishops?". My initial response is "No, not all of them". I hope that this helps.
Pamela. It was as nothing compared to your barbs. I am hurting here. Dave. Young people are so rude, aren't they. In my day we usually laughed at people behind their backs. Richard. Bumface. Donn. Do you have an heretics in the colonies? Tom. The time has long passed for your getting over the ambition to shag all of the women in the world. There are too many of them even for your 3 minutes each. Some pedant will now work out how long you would need to live in order to carry out your plan. Frankly, I could not be bothered.
(who are these "they" anyhow, and why do we all know what they "say"?)(sorry vicus, I'm just making the most of the fact that my laptop is currently not broken and my Orange Internet Everywhere gizmo is behaving itself. . . I'll go and bother someone else now)
Zoe. You are so out of step. Everyone else here hangs on every word, and absorbs the wisdom with an open and grateful mind. Not that there is anything wrong with being out of step - without people like you the rest of us would not be aware that we are normal. Richard. Of course I will tell her. Kindness is in my nature. ILTV. Thank you. I am of the view that being a member of the CofE is not dependent upon holding specific religious views. It is a broad church. Despite the breadth offered, I will not be joining.
dear sweet vicus I am of the view that any and every religion is so broad that there are actually extreme fringes of all of their continuums on which it is possible to exist and have quite a happy and satisfying life with no belief whatsoever
I also believe if you were to carefully stitch all these extreme fringes of "non-belief" together, you'd probably find that the area covered was broader and more expansive and accepting than the cummulative sum of the small patches of rigour and rules maintained by the actual religions of the world
that is only my humble opinion tho, to which I am as entitled as those people who like the rigour and rules of the smaller patches of the planet we share and those who like the other areas
:-)
(in my current small patch of hell, I am suffering greatly and thus look forward to your next post which, you have suggested, might bring me some relief)

So, if you're inviting another jihad, I presume that you've experienced one already?
How'd that work out for you?
;-)
As the young people say.
Infidel
Been having Tea with Rushdie have we?
I have issued a big 'Fat One' on your head for such outrageous blasphemy! Honestly.
Good Day to you Sir!,
Ayatoldya Howmany
Actually, I do think all woman should become CofE bishops. Women dressed up as priests make me really horny!

Not all of them? Which ones of them should be, Vicus? Just curious. ;-)
Leni, I see you as the head of the Head of the Russian Orthodox Church. It's a beard thing.
Due to my impossibility to become a CofE bishop, and as a beard thing, coming from you, Vicus, I will consider it as an honor.
The only thing is I’m not religious; least of all an orthodox.
But as I said: as a beard thing, it's an honor. :)
The crap that you come out with makes me feel all the more valid, Vicus. Dunno how.
Zoe, doubtless he'll tell you.
Did you not celebrate National Shed Week last week?
yes
XXX
(with the possible exception of XXs of other/or no religious persuasion?)
(actually, that's more of less what you said, isn't it?)
(great minds think a like, as they say)
(or fools seldom differ, as they also say)

I was told recently that one must now refer to the CofE as Anglican. Thank goodness I take my lead from someone as knowledgeable as you.
