In order to boost the Conservative's falling popularity, it was decided to remove the more embarrassing aspects of the campaign. Boris was looking forward to his fortnight on the beach in Lowestoft.
Boris was bemused (again) - he had no idea that the East London railway went this far east.

Lowestoft is as far east as you can go.
If I lived 5 miles away I could soon have a Johnson as my Mayor and another one as my MP. There but for the grace of God.
If only Boris could be sent off to orbit the earth like Laika the Russian space dog ...
When I was six, we were visiting my grandmother in the D.C. area and took a trip downtown on the Metro. I saw there was a stop in Chinatown and was amazed at how deep that thing went.
