Lend us ten bob until next Tuesday, please

Scientists at Cern show their delight at breaking a new record. The LHC has been officially recognised by Guinness World Records as "The biggest fucking waste of money ever, and then some!".
The project now outstrips all the previous occupiers of the record, having outspent:
  • Money spent on buying Rod Stewart or David Bowie music
  • The Christmas lights in Farnham, Surrey
  • Dave's cosmetic surgery

Money well spent then.

Yours was worth every penny Dave - not so sure about Rod.

Can you occupy a record? Surely you mean "holders". The fortune spent on my education obviously didn't go to waste.

I'd love to add my two cents but I have to deal with my PR problem which has flared up into Tiger Woodsian proportions ever since Pouncer outted me as a kolboynik!

So as I slide down my bottomless shame spiral my handlers have instructed me to write,
"If you say so."

I think you'll find it was a codpiece. It saved a fortune in Surgery.

I think all of you could learn a lesson from Geoff, who has gone to the trouble of finding the correct accent.
I am not sure what that lesson is, nor am I sure that I care.

I don't know why this should come to me. You may wish to expunge it from this temple of rectitude. Please excuse me.

I thought the whole point of the LHC was to facilitate Dave's plastic surgery? And make him look like Rod Stewart.
