A temporary moment of self indulgence

Blogger are updating.
This means that, temporarily at least, I have to choose a new default style for my lovely web pages, and not inflict my hideous customisations on the world.
No, I don't like the style much either, but I can't do much about it at the moment.
In fact, I can't even access the page through my browser. If you have had trouble getting here, it wasn't really worth the effort was it?
Normal crap will be resumed as soon as impossible.

Blimey, weird.

You need to put your attractive profile picture back up the top, it keeps the ladies interested.

Vicus Scurra said...

That is the only improvement, Martha. I have to fight them off as it is.

Vicus, I'm stunned by the way you get the ladies. See, brains are more powerful than good looks.

I find your new style most restful.

You're back to opening the batting this afternoon, as Richard is on holiday.

It is a rather fetching shade of blue. But I SO don't understand what the problem is. Could it be something to do with using Firefox?

Ulbujo. A game on the late lamented Reeves and Mortimer show.

I have only limited options - I can no longer get into the html code and bugger it up, so I am stuck with colours and styles that are not of my choice, and with this thing that goes straight down the middle of the screen instead of filling it up.

It looks fabulously techno, darling. Can I get a Cosmo and a Vitamin K? Turn up the Moby!

Oh, and it could be worse. One of my blogs and the BoJo blog are down completely. When in doubt, blame it on the Americans.

It's a mystery. My blog is freely accessible. So's the html.

Actually it makes a rather refreshing change. It's usually me who's lost in the cyber-wilderness.

You have my deepest sympathy, old chum. I gather the cricket season is nearing its conclusion as well.

A four wicket haul, and a painting, as requested.

Not that I'm suggesting Vicus might like to look at my blog, or anything.

I'm not a pimp, after all.

Ah, did someone call for an American?

Vicus Scurra said...

No, no need for Americans, FE, we have enough idiots of our own.
You are very welcome, nevertheless.

Very welcome, Vi. Just offering the kind of service that we seem to be extremely skilled at these days (besides producing new and wonderful flavors of SPAM).

Well I found the last one damned difficult to read so I say good on Blogger for forcing your hand.

Sharon, what was wrong with the old one? You are not the first person to say this, but in all the browsers I have seen there was no problem, and I found it easier to read, because there were more characters on the screen, and I didn't have to use the mouse so much.

Crap, your feed on Bloglines is broken. Good thing I surfed over here, but I see I've missed out reading your nonsense. Template looks good.
