Mr Scurra is unwell

Not that I am going to apologise for the lack of updates.
Here is something to amuse you until I can summon the enthusiasm to post something original.

Thank you. I could have done without the laughter track, but that does give me some ideas for positive action.

I normally say "I'm sorry, there's no 'phone here" and put the telephone down.

It's blogging about sports that does it. Everyone knows that makes people sick.

One may take that any way one likes, particularly with two Aspirin.

Tom Mabe's CDs are hilarious.

I'm terribly sorry. I hadn't noticed the title of this post. From one invalid to another, get well soon.

I do hope you haven't caught anything from my blog.

vicus, thanks for the link. That awas hilarious!!

Get well soon sweetie. Rain is right, no more sports blogging. It will get you in the end.

Get well soon. You are the voice of reason in a world of darkness.

I'm concerned about Pam's commentary about getting it in the end . . . your malaise isn't radish-related, I hope?

Dave; without the laughter track, how would you have known which bits were funny?
Thanks for the link MJ.

Thank you all for your kind wishes. I just had a bad cold and cough, which appears to be receding.
FE. Thanks. Protocol demands that rectal radishes remain a private matter. And you made me laugh.

bjhcm - pleasure linked to Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy - Realdoc your advice is needed.

Blogger won't let Pamela post.
So I am pasting it here for her:

No radishes were injured in the making of this post.

Nor were they thought of, considered, bandied about nor pondered.

I'm quite sure I don't want to know what you two are talking about.

Thank you, Pamela, I too am glad that I do not know what I am talking about.

Nice to know that you're getting over that new superbug virus that the Conservative party infected you with as a hit job. Don't let them stop you from blogging about whatever it is you blog about!

As for the link, it reminded me of something that will make you (almost) feel sorry for telemarketers:

http://crazytelemarketer.ytmnd.com/

Ah, I remember telemarketers. What is it like to still have them in your country?

ojmqdmi- The name of the beast on my link there.

We don't know Adam, you tell us. The clip was from your country, was it not? Has Vicus ever been to a Conservative party?

vicus isn't really sick. he's just pretending as he tries to yank that turnip out of his arse.

He should just wait till it dissolves. The imported ones are hallucinogenic.

While unrelated to this post, this item refers back to Lulu's status in Brazilian politics.

Seems she'll have to brush up on the soybean market:

Why are all the bloggers sick? I nearly made the virus joke but thought the better of it.

Zoe, see how much out of touch you are with the rest of my adoring fans?
They all worship me, and fret lest I should be in less than perfect health. Do you not wish that your readers displayed such devotion?
FE = the link expired.
Admirable self restraint Realdoc.

Sorry.

Just arrived here from Google to
Zoe's "sick","yank", "turnip" and "arse".

Actually wanted Tony Blair's Foreign Policy.

vicus!
you've been sick long enough; stop malingering and type up a damn post. there's limey politicians out there in desparate need of skewering.
that came out wrong.
