Sports news

My views on any activity that involves sitting down not being a real sport are already widely known, so I will not bore you further with that, but I was a little surprised to read that the formula one car racing championship will be decided this weekend at the Brazilian Grand Prix.
It seems very unfair that the deciding race should be staged on a circuit with a small tuft of foliage down the centre of the track.

Yes. Michael Schumacher. Well, my little nephews read this so I don't need to be graphic, do I?

After that performance I am not all that confident that the ashes will be returning to this green and pleasant land.

I wish I'd done the ironing now :(

Not motor sport fans in this house, nor fans of pubic topiary for that matter. Cricket was woeful.

I guess it all depends on whether the track was waxed properly . . .

The faster they go, the less painful it is.

I, uh, read it in Cosmo.

It took me ages to work that out. I get slower as I age especially in my mind. Ziggi, I think we want to keep the ashes over here (Oz) but I am not holding my breath.
Vicus, I enjoy your blog and with a great deal.

Hello Lyn. Welcome. Meet a few of the inmates. Do not let them persuade you to feed them. It may interfere with their medication.

Treespotter. Welcome. I could become a full time sports blog, but I would lose some of my dear readers (AMToNW) and I can ill afford that.

What a race that was. Hate Schumi but boy he can drive. I'm off for a spin round the field on my tractor.

I think we need to move on.

Indeed, onwards and upwards.

Is that a chest wax reference?

Yes vicus dear. Move on. Your fans are clamoring for a new post. How are we to go on about our lives, stuck on sports? We can't.

If only they had one in Brest, too.
